Flight: In resurrección, the shadow limbs morph into black butterfly wings. In Hueco Mundo, they originate purple.
Fast Regeneration: The tribal butterfly tattoo, similar to the Espada numbers is much more than for looks. For every abrasion or injury, a black mass from that tattoo will extend and quickly heal that area.
Lengua de Muerte: Also known as the "tongue of death". Isla's tongue becomes black and like a butterfly sucking nectar, her tongue sucks the spiritual energy out of whatever is in its grasp.

Backstory

Isla Kurayami was originally a lieutenant serving underneath Yachiru Unohana of the Eleventh Division when she had originally been a kenpachi, all well knowing that Isla was no ordinary shinigami. Unohana could always sense something deadly within her. Once the second kenpachi had taken Unohana's place, she had been nominated for the captain's exam. After passing with flying colors, she was appointed Captain of the Fifth Division.Kurayami spent any years as captain, picking Shinji Hirako as her lieutenant. She saw a spark that she claims many overlook. She had alot of trust && faith put into him, despite his lax behaviour.Kurayami is also a full blood born hollow, something that surpasses the vasto lorde given the hole she should have, does not exist. She had left Hueco Mundo once developing shinigami - like abilities. She had been able to keep this secret from the Soul Society for the longest time.Then she had come across Sōsuke Aizen in his younger years. Using a cero to once protect him, he outted her secret, resulting in Squad Zero sealing her away.Shinji, having known his captain's secret, was displeased to find out what had happened.After Aizen had defected from the Soul Society, the Gotei 13 had unsealed her.
